I can't believe he was drafted a) in 1991 and b) in the first round of the MLB draft. And with the 43rd pick... note to MLB, when you've got 26 teams (pre-expansion) and someone gets drafted with the 43rd pick, maybe it's time to call that "second round." And we wonder why the MLB draft doesn't seize hold of the national consciousness each year.
